QuickLogic Case Study

Ransomware tactics are constantly evolving. While traditional ransomware protection tools can identify and block known malware, they often lack in stopping new or unknown kinds of attacks, let alone help in the recovery process. With NeuShield Data Sentinel, it’s a much different story. It doesn’t matter how or why data was affected, QuickLogic knows that NeuShield Data Sentinel can go deep into the computer system to recover its data. QuickLogic can now easily fix a problem by simply accessing the device that’s been infected and deciding which data they want to recover. All of this can be done immediately without having to access a backup system and do a restore, a process that otherwise can take days

With NeuShield Data Sentinel, QuickLogic is able to access various features of protection:

  • Mirror Shielding – Patent pending technology that makes an attacker believe they have access to a computer’s original data files, but they are in fact only seeing a mirror image of them.
  • One-Click Restore – Restores operating system files and settings back to a known good state allowing you to quickly regain access to your computer after a ransomware attack.
  • Cloud Drive Protection – Protects local cloud drive folders (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.), allowing destroyed or corrupted data to be recovered quickly without an Internet connection.
